Welcome to Las Maravillas Unit II & III and thank you for visiting our Blog. The Good Neighbor Association (GNA) is now the Home Owners Association for Las Maravillas II & III, and we are no longer part of the VIA. The GNA is working very hard to do a much better job than the VIA did to make sure our community will be a safe, clean, secure and fun place to live.
Las Maravillas has a nearly unlimited potential and could easily become the best place to live in Valencia County if we can capitalize on our strengths such as: Our location on the east mesa is away from the noise and congestion of the west mesa, as a result our community is very quiet and peaceful, We have stunning unrestricted views of the Manzano mountains, there is rarely a mosquito or bug of any kind to interfere with our warm days and tranquil evenings. If you have school age Children, they will never need to leave the immediate area to complete school from Kindergarten through college! Desert View Elementary School borders the Las Maravillas to the north, Manzano Middle School is within walking distance for students to the west and Valencia high school is less than three miles east of our community at the end of a beautiful paved walking trail. The best part is the University of New Mexico Valencia Campus is less than a ten minute drive away from Las Maravillas. Additionally we are located in an ATV rider’s paradise; we are adjacent to miles and miles of unpaved roads, trails and perfect riding areas uniquely suited for unlimited ATV riding fun. The Belen Area Radio Control (radio control aircraft) Club is just four miles east of Las Maravillas and radio control pilots fly a varied and unique variety of aircraft nearly every Saturday and Sunday morning. If you like to go for walks, runs or peaceful bicycle rides, there are miles of beautiful paved bicycle/walking/running trails surrounding our community that allow access through the natural desert habitat and provide breathtaking views at every turn. The GNA operates a controlled access community owned Recreational Vehicle/Vehicle storage area, for use by our residence with extremely affordable monthly rates. All that and we have many, many caring resourceful residence that volunteer to clean, coordinate events and watch over our community.
GNA needs your help to make Las Maravillas II & III all that it can be. Please contact any of the GNA Directors to volunteer, make a suggestion or comment on the job that we are doing! But most of all get out meet your neighbors
